Two men arrested following police operation in Barrington

Two men are in custody following an armed police operation in Barrington

A police spokesperson said at 11am on Monday police conducted a search warrant at an address on Barrington Street.

A modified pistol, crossbow, and cash were located and seized at the address.

 Two men aged 34 and 41 have been taken into custody and are due to appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow the police spokesperson said.

 They will face a range of charges.
