Police operation near Rolleston

Police have cordoned off roads near Rolleston as part of an operation.

A witness said “there is major police presence on Maddisons Road at the same residence a man was shot earlier this year.

“The road is currently closed.

“As far as the locals are aware it’s a non gang pad.”

Police said a pre-planned search warrant was taking police.

The resident said traffic was being diverted at Curragh Road.
