Police operation at residential address North Canterbury
Multiple armed police have converged on a house in North Canterbury.
A police spokesman said officers are at a residential address in Hawarden.
They’re attempting to engage with the occupants, after receiving a report of a disorder at the address shortly after 6pm.
A local resident told Chris Lynch Media said there were ambulances on standby at the Hawarden Domain.
There is not thought to be any threat posed to residents in any of the surrounding properties the spokesman said.
