Police investigating another ram raid and burglaries overnight

Christchurch police are investigating another ram raid and multiple burglaries overnight.

A police spokeswoman told Chris Lynch Media police were notified of a ram-raid at commercial premises on Moorhouse Avenue at 4.34am.

A vehicle was used to gain entry to the premises.

Electronic items were stolen from the store.

The offenders fled the scene before police arrived. Enquiries are underway to locate the offenders the police spokeswoman said.

Two minutes later police were notified of a burglary at commercial premises on Langdons Road in Papanui at 4.36am.

Electronic items are believed to have been taken from the store. The offenders fled the scene before police arrived.

Then at 5.17AM, police were notified of a burglary at Smith City on Tower Street.

Enquiries are underway to locate the offenders and to determine if anything was taken the police spokeswoman said.
