Person dead following “workplace” incident at Hagley Park
A person has died following a “workplace incident” at Hagley Park this morning
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 10AM.
A jogger near the scene said it appeared a tree had fallen over and police were seen comforting a worker.
A police spokesperson said the matter has been referred to WorkSafe and the Coroner.
No further information is available at this stage
Work Safe has been approached for comment.
