Emergency services at serious crash in Kirwee

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in rural Canterbury.

The two-vehicle crash happened on Wards Road at Kirwee, between Aylesbury and Highfield roads.

Police were notified about 1.20pm.

At least one person has received critical injuries and will be airlifted to hospital.

The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
