Disruptions to some Metro bus services

Some Metro services will be disrupted on Friday due to a stop-work meeting.

Drivers that would usually operate on routes 3, 28, 140 and 155 will attend an Amalgamated Workers Union NZ meeting.

Metro said “services are likely to be impacted from 10am as buses start to come off their routes, and we expect all services to be operating as normal by 2pm. Other bus routes will continue to operate normally during this time.

Please plan ahead if you usually use any of the services listed above between 10am – 2pm and consider taking an alternative form of transport if you can.”

Unions are permitted to hold at least two meetings per calendar year.
